This makes it ideal for commuting and is good enough for longer drives too, but if drivers opt for the all-wheel drive configuration instead of the standard rear-wheel drive, they can upgrade to an 88-kWh extended-range battery that is good for 300 miles on a full charge.

At 370 horsepower, the extended-range battery also increases the vehicle’s power significantly over the standard-range option with rear-wheel drive, which delivers a respectable 264 hp. However, those looking for the kind of power Mustangs are known for ought to look at the higher GT or Rally trims, both of which can produce 480 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 mph in these takes under four seconds, making them even quicker than the V8-powered Mustangs.
